HOW TO JOIN SOMERSET #111
"We the members of Somerset # 111 welcome new members, however there are few requirements that all must be meet prior to joining any Kentucky Masonic Lodge."
You will not be asked to join, you must come of your own free will. Masonry invites no one, it is a decision that should not be undertaken lightly. If you do not know anyone who is a Mason, you may contact the Lodge, or e-mail us and we will direct you.
The following are additional requirements for all Mason's to join a Masonic Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- You must believe in God
- You must believe in the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of mankind
- You must be a male and at least 18 years of age
- You must be a resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky for at least 6 months
- You must be recemmended by two members of the lodge of which you are joining
- You must receive a unaminous ballot upon being investigated by a committee from the lodge which you petition to join.
You may now download a petition for membership online, this petition must still be signed by two members of Somerset #111 to be accepted for consideration for membership.
