Greetings, Brethern and Friends,
My Brothers, As we embark upon the next year of Masonry in Kentucky, let us not loose sight of the Masonic Application of Faith, Hope, and Charity. We must never forget our obligations to all man kind but more especially those obligations to our brethren. As Master of Somerset #111, I will continue to promote Friendship, Morality, and Brotherly Love; not only among our brethren but with all mankind.
There are no endings in masonry, only new beginnings! We live in an ever changing world, and we must prepare ourselves to withstand the challenges that we face in today’s society. The principles of Freemasonry will never change, but we as Masons must endeavor to sustain the fraternity and begin creating our future with the actions we take daily as cornerstones of our communities, and never forget to give The Grand Architect of the Universe our praise and glory. Remember my brothers, Freemasonry is not just a fraternity. Freemasonry is a way of life.
It is an honor to serve as Master of Somerset Lodge #111 in the first year of a new decade. I hope each of you this year take the opporunity to vist our historic lodge and many other lodges across the great Commonwealth of Kentucky. With everyone’s help we can have a progressive year in Masonry.
Fraternally thine,
John Wayne Johnson, PM,PDDGM, 32*SRVL
Worshipful Master 2010
